Product Introduction
The XMC-8860 is an XMC display controller card independently developed by Indes Electronics , primarily targeting high-performance embedded graphics processing and GPU general-purpose computing (GPGPU) applications. Based on the AMD Radeon™ E8860 embedded GPU, the XMC-8860 provides a mature solution for harsh environments requiring high-performance graphics and video processing, such as automotive, marine electronics, and avionics .
The XMC-8860 features 2GB of dedicated GDDR5 video memory, supports dual-channel output, and boasts 768/48 GFLOPS of single/double precision peak (600e/4.5Gbps) processing power and 640 independent computing units (shaders). It has a typical power consumption of 37W and can be adjusted to operate in a low-power mode, with a minimum power consumption of approximately 15W. It is particularly suitable for high-definition (1920x1080), 4K ultra-high-definition (3840x2160) displays, high-performance parallel computing, and other applications.
Applications: Image and graphics processing, radar and sonar digital signal processing, command and control, and video surveillance.
